Meeting Wednesday’s, Late September through May – 3:45 to 5:00 P.M.

This religious education program has been designed specifically for 1st thru 5th graders of both public and non-catholic private schools. Students experience their faith through classroom work, audio-visual materials, crafts, liturgies, prayer services, and lessons are presented in a fun innovative way.
1st Graders - (Includes Sacramental Preparation Year 1)
Baptized children normally begin their religious education preparation in first grade and make the sacraments of First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Eucharist (Communion) in second grade. If your child is entering the 2nd grade, new to religious education, and has not made their First Communion this class is for you.
2nd Graders - (Includes Sacramental Preparation Year 2)
In addition to your child's regular Religious Education program, this year will be filled with activities and special events as your child prepares to receive his/her sacraments of First Reconciliation in February and First Holy Communion in May. Thru events such as our parent/child Reconciliation meeting and the Eucharist mini retreat, you will have unique opportunities to grow further together in faith
3rd thru 5th graders who have completed the sacrament of First Holy Communion- There is much to learn after First Communion. We will explore our faith through Gospel dramatizations, current events and original stories linked to both the Gospel and kids' own lives. Thru this, "think" questions will be presented helping children in making moral choices in today's difficult times.
3rd thru 5th graders who have not completed the sacrament of First Holy Communion:
If you have a child entering 3rd thru 5th grade who has been baptized, but has not yet made their First Holy Communion please register them in the regular 3rd—5th grade religious education class. Your child will receive religious education instruction their first year in the program. As they enter the 2nd year, in addition to regular religious education instruction, your child will prepare to receive his/her sacraments of First Reconciliation in February and First Communion in May. Also, during their 2nd year, thru events such as our parent/child Reconciliation meeting and the Eucharist mini retreat, parent(s) and child will have unique opportunities to grow further together in faith.

Registration Fees: Parishioners- $75 per child Non-Parishioners $100 per child
For those making their First Communion in 2012, an additional $20 is required: Parishioner $95./ Non-Parishioner $125.
A separate medical form must be completed for each child registering in the religious education program.
