| Children's Liturgy of the Word - for children in grades 1, 2, & 3
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a free program that runs September through May during 10:30 A.M. Sunday Masses. This is a great opportunity for children (grades 1,2,3) to understand the Sunday Gospel at their own age level. After the opening prayer the children are dismissed to the lower school building. They are provided with colorful handouts and activities that enhance what they hear from their adult leaders about the Word of God. The children then return to the church to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist with the rest of the parish family. So many times children complain that Mass is boring or they do not understand what the priest is saying. Here is an opportunity to give the Mass more meaning for them.
NOTE: THE CALENDAR OF ALL CLW MEETING DATES WILL BE POSTED BY AUGUST, 2010.
